Position Summary

The Client Implementation Engineer (Back End) - II is a critical contributor to the seamless onboarding of FINBOA clients. This role focuses on configuring and supporting technical back-end requirements, including database management, query optimization, and process automation. The ideal candidate will be experienced in banking or credit unions and familiar with Reg E Dispute Management, at least peripherally. You’ll work closely with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and system integrity while delivering an exceptional client experience.

What You'll Do

  • Configuration & Support: Handle technical back-end requirements for implementation projects, including batch processing, data importing/exporting, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Monitor & Troubleshoot: Proactively monitor batch processes, identify and resolve errors, and maintain smooth system functionality.
  • Collaboration: Partner with development teams on new integrations and solution components; collaborate with internal teams to allocate resources and meet deadlines.
  • Client Engagement: Communicate with clients to gather requirements, address technical requests, and conduct training sessions to enhance understanding of our platform.
  • Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, including recreating software bugs, documenting steps, and contributing to our knowledge base.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all implementations meet compliance standards and follow change control management protocols.
  • Azure Expertise: Deploy FINBOA implementation projects using containerization for Azure marketplaces.
What We’re Looking For

  • Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles, such as technical support or customer success.
    • 2+ years in a SaaS environment, focusing on back-end support and SQL.
    • Familiarity with banking or fintech environments and exposure to Reg E Dispute Management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
    • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and containerization.
    • Proficiency in technical configurations and batch processing.
  • Other Skills:
    • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Clear and concise communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
